'Temptation Eyes' Story Code '67322' by Paul Brown

1st February 1985: Sam becomes Dylan Powell, an aging TV anchor for ‘KSFW Channel 12 News’ who is covering a series of brutal murders in San Francisco’s Chinatown. After bluffing his way through a live report on ‘The Chinatown Strangler’ with his cameraman, Ross Tyler, Sam meets Tamlyn Matsuda, an attractive psychic assisting the police with their investigation. Having witnessed Tamlyn use her powers to ‘see’ the murder, Sam finds himself falling for the psychic, and he eagerly accepts her offer of tea at her apartment. During the evening, Al arrives on the scene with the news that Powell is receiving tip-offs from the killer – and that on Valentine’s Day in two weeks’ time, Tamlyn will be his next victim. Teaming up to track down the killer, Sam and Tamlyn quickly fall in love – but then Tamlyn reveals that she can see Sam for who he really is. Ignoring Al’s warnings, Sam decides to tell his lover everything: about himself, about Project Quantum Leap, and about Tamlyn’s imminent death…
